RESPECT LIFE MINISTRY  

Works for the respect of all human life from conception to natural death.  To support this mission we believe that prayer, church teaching, education, awareness of legislative issues, and outreach to organizations in the  community are important.  Volunteers can help with signature ad drives, voter registration, collections for mothers and  children, outwardly praying to end abortion and similar activities.

January - March for Life (National and State)

• The March for Life held in Washington D.C. is an inspiring, peaceful, vibrant, and joy-filled rally of women, men, young people, and children from across the country.  The Topeka Rally for Life is held every year on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

• This is partnership between HumanKind Ministries and the Catholic Diocese of Wichita to provide food and shelter for the homeless and hungry in Wichita.

• Embrace provides Bottles to fill with donations.

• Change for Life donations help moms and dads find hope.
• Religious Freedom Week runs June 22-29 and raises awareness about a variety of current challenges to religious freedom in our world

• Pope Francis has decided to institute the Church-wide celebration of World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. It is celebrated the 4^th Sunday of July.

• Every Life is worth Living for this month’s intention.

• Diocesan and Parish wide list of activities to get involved with to support the gift of Life.

• A Mass for the commemoration of all the faithful departed.

• Memorial Mass for families who have lost a child.
